The Minimalist Fashionista: Fix your posture in two quick steps

E. Nina Rothe October 6, 2019

OK, so you’re wondering why the alignment of your hips makes any difference to a Minimalist Fashionista. Well, if you don’t look good and feel good in your undies and bra, you won’t look that great dressed in your minimalist fabulous wardrobe either. And you won’t feel good inside your skin, because at all times, you’ll be walking around loop-sided. That adds years to your beautiful self and wreaks havoc with your stride.

How do I know? I’ve been there. For two years I ran to the doctor every time my lower back went into spasms. He would give me a shot to release the muscle and prescribe costly therapy sessions with a physiotherapist.

That was then, this is now.

Until I found this video and literally overnight, it changed my life. It was when I was plagued yet again by spasms and tried all the exercises my postural gymnastics trainer had taught me. Still, nothing. It was the eve of me having to travel to a film festival and I could not find the time for a visit to the doctor for the usual shot. I felt so lost, I looked online. And yes, I could hear my late best friend’s words “don’t research ailments online,” but I also remembered he meant his…. So I would not be frightened by his illness.

On my Google search, I ran across this video on YouTube, and understood all at once why Millennials search for all their information on YouTube! It’s magic. I’ve done the exercises, make sure you watch the ENTIRE video through and then replay it while you follow the instructions and I haven’t had a bad back day since. I didn’t use any of the extra tools, I simply did the movements while lying on my bed with a soft pillow under my head. Make sure you do identify your higher hip before you start!

So thank you Dr. Chuck Tillotson, D.C. and I didn’t have to buy anything to feel better!
